Meeting Notes: April 8, 2019

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Club President John Farmer.
There were 12 members and 5 visitors in attendance.

Secretary’s Report :Ron Burke
• Minutes from March were read.

Treasurer’s Report :Wayne Fox
• Expenses for the period: WB9IIV plaque.

Trustee Tech. Committee Report :
• Repeater interference problems.

ARES Report : Ron Burke
• Monthly Hospital Net, Saturday April 20, on 147.570 MHz simplex.
• Our S.E.T. will take place sometime in October.
• Packet Radio in Hendricks County is growing with more hams getting involved.

RACES Report :
• EMAD is working on the EOC ID badges.

Old Business :
• My story series this month was by Steven Blinn N9PUC, next month will be Bill Pfaffenberger AE9R.

New Business :
• May 17-19 Dayton Hamvention.
• Discussion about the possibility of the club purchasing ARRL book packages to be placed inside the county libraries.

Other Announcements :
• Jay Wright KK9L, talked about Salvation Army updates.

Special Program :
• Rick Burdan WB9DPN and his homemade RF Strength Meter.

Meeting closed : At 8:55pm Rick Burdan made a motion to adjourn the meeting, which was seconded by Mike Rollins.
