Meeting notes: September 14, 2015

The meeting was called to order at 7:02pm by President John Farmer. There were 20 members and 5 visitors in attendance.

Secretary’s Report :Ron Burke
• Minutes from July and August were read and approved. (No Minutes were read during August meeting due to the special presentation.)

Treasurer’s Report :Wayne Fox
• Expenses for the month: $21 for Grommets for the 4-H fairgrounds, $20 for brush killer at the club’s repeater site, $100 for brush clean-up.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by Vice-President Mike Rollins. There were 20 members and 5 visitors in attendance.

• The repeater is working fine. Will have to move the repeater to another tower site.

• Hilltop is Sept.26. Mike Rollins talked to the property owner to set up for this year’s contest. Got the OK.

The meeting was called to order at 7:04pm by President John Farmer. There were 16 members and 2 visitors in attendance.

• The repeater is up and running and working fine.

• Hospital net this Thursday July 16th @ 9:30am on 147.570 simplex.
• Will need some help on Sept.19th at Plainfield’s Quaker Day Parade.
• Gordon Cotton picture is in the July 2015 QST.

Expenses for the month; 9ft stainless steel cable, 600ft of poly rope, 12 padlocks.

--Invited our ARRL Indiana Section Emergency Coordinator Brent Walls, N9BA to the HCARS Field Day site. He accepted.

• Minutes from February were read by Gordon Cotton and approved.

Trustee’s Report :
• The repeater is working fine.
• No further news on building a tower at Belleville by the county.
• The club’s new Yaesu repeater does not have an ETA yet.

• Training classes coming up for March/April as Tom Hansen reported.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00pm by President John Farmer. There were 24 members and 3 visitors in attendance.

• The repeater is working fine. Bought a new 2m/440 MHz repeater through Yaesu in a special club arrangement.

• Gordon Cotton will be on the County L.E.P.C. committee overseeing our part of the S.E.T. for 2015

The meeting was called to order at 7:06pm by President John Farmer. There were 22 members and 7 visitors in attendance.

• Minutes from October, November, and HCARS dinner were approved.

• Report was read and approved

Trustee’s Report :
• The repeater cans are being heated by heating tapes.

• Hospital net this Thursday at 9:30am on 147.570 MHz.
• Gordon Cotton talked about going to meet with the County L.E.P.C. group this Thursday to discuss this year’s S.E.T.

Meeting notes: December 3, 2014

The annual HCARS Christmas dinner and election of officers for the year 2015 was held at the Hendricks County Senior Services Building in Danville, IN. Pizza, salad, drinks, and snacks were provided by the club. 20 members and some spouse’s, families were in attendance.

The dinner started at 6pm with the meeting at 7:05pm. Cub President John Farmer called the meeting to order.

The 2015 HCARS election of officers are:
